Carol Mascali
Director
Danville Parks Commissioner
District Representative for County Supervisor Andersen

Carol Mascali has been deeply involved in the San Ramon Valley through active volunteer service and local leadership for nearly three decades. Currently, she is employed as the District Representative for Contra Costa County Supervisor Candace Andersen, where she support the residents of District 2 by applying both her professional experience and her long-standing commitment to public service.

She is also proud to serve as a Parks & Recreation Commissioner for the Town of Danville—a role that allows her to help residents engage with the programs and recreational spaces that make our community such a vibrant and welcoming place. Volunteering has been a central part of her life for the past 27 years, giving her a strong sense of purpose and joy. Some of her most meaningful roles have included Mustang Soccer Board Member, Education Fund President at both the elementary and high school levels, 32nd District PTA Committee Chair, and Board Member for the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Professionally, her background spans human resources leadership in the private sector, executive support in philanthropy, and nonprofit operations. She has served as the Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health and Chief of Staff for CPC, where she led the For the Valley team. She thrives in environments where collaboration, trust, and mission-driven results come together—and where she can help teams do their best work.

She and her husband John have been married for over 33 years and raised their two daughters in Danville. They love spending time together outdoors—hiking and fishing in Sequoia National Park, playing tennis, pickleball, and bocce, and exploring new places through travel.

She is especially excited to serve on the Leadership San Ramon Valley Board, where she can help cultivate, inform, and engage with leaders who want to make a positive impact in our region.
