Bayley Dycus is a Bay Area native and graduate of the Leadership San Ramon Valley Class of 2024. His leadership journey began in 2002 with the United States Air Force and carried him to grow professionally and personally, supporting operations worldwide. With a focus on technology, Bayley spent the last 22 years in the spaces of public service at the federal (Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs), state (Judicial Council of California), and local levels (City of San Ramon) as well as Retail IT for Restoration Hardware. In these positions, Bayley has managed teams with responsibilities ranging from highly classified missions to holiday sales.
In his current position with the City of San Ramon, Bayley is the Senior Analyst and responsible for the IT systems impacting city residents and staff, including the Police Department and Public Safety. Bayley’s team keeps digital spaces safe and secure while innovating and growing the City’s capability to fit unknown future technological needs.
Bayley holds an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Information Systems Technology, Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, and a Masters of Public Administration degree.
